Tegan Crosbie, local Ballarat artist moved her micro business into a small room in the Barkly Square facility in 2023, and has subsequently transformed the room into an art studio and tiny retail store. From this intimate and light-filled mid-century space Tegan runs a range of art and craft workshops including collage, zine making and painting.
The Workshoppery is filled to the brim with colour, collections of Tegan’s retro inspired paintings and collages and pot plants that soak up the morning sun that floods the cozy space.
This joyous and creative studio is also the home of Fontella the zine machine, a zine distro with a difference, the vintage vending machine affectionately named Fontella is located in the adjacent café.
