Sandwich Press

Sandwich Press is an independent artist book publisher / Risograph printer based in Naarm/Melbourne. Founded in 2023 by three friends - Jiayu, Shuai, and Ruirui - Sandwich Press emerged from a shared passion for storytelling, design, and collaboration. As a young and dynamic imprint, they focus on publishing Risograph zines, artist books, Riso prints, and photography books.

Their mission is to work closely with local and international artists and designers from various disciplines, including ceramics, photography, sculpture, filmmaking, and graphic design, to bring their creative visions to life. By combining innovative storytelling with the unique aesthetic of Risograph printing, they aim to craft publications that are both visually striking and deeply meaningful.

At Sandwich Press, they embrace experimentation and celebrate the handmade quality of Riso printing, making each publication a distinctive piece of art. Through their work, they strive to amplify diverse voices and cultivate a community of creatives who share their love for beautiful, tangible storytelling.
