Krack!

Krack! is a printmaking collective founded in 2013, based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Working collaboratively with artists to produce and exhibit print-based works, they are dedicated to promoting and facilitating the production, presentation and dissemination of various printmaking approaches that are visually innovative and respond critically to events, developments and cultural debates in the Asia Pacific region.

Krack! believes printmaking is a way of thinking and a foothold to see the resistance and politics of everyday life. Due to this, Krack! endeavours to offer alternative views by facilitating the chain of knowledge production in printmaking, through exhibitions, discussions, workshops, residencies and artistic research.
