Within the NGV Stallholder Fair, we’re excited to showcase a diverse selection of makers from the Southeast Asian region. These publishers reflect histories of resistance, DIY ingenuity, and collective storytelling with work that is thought provoking and visually striking.

Krack! (Yogyakarta, Indonesia)
Krack! is a printmaking collective founded in 2013, based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Working collaboratively with artists to produce and exhibit print-based works, they are dedicated to promoting and facilitating the production, presentation and dissemination of various printmaking approaches that are visually innovative and respond critically to events, developments and cultural debates in the Asia Pacific region.
Binatang Press (Jakarta, Indonesia)
Binatang Press is a small-scale independent publisher based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Focusing on art and visual culture in Indonesia, they are all about honest expressions, encouraging collaborators to voice their observations and personal point of view.

Further Reading seeks to engage in discourse within design practice through multiple outputs such as online publications, printed periodicals, pop-ups, and residencies to explore topics relevant to and within Indonesia, Southeast Asia and globally.
Cahyati Press (Bali, Indonesia and Meanjin / Brisbane)
Cahyati Press is a publishing and printing experiment based in Bali, Indonesia since 2022. Interested in women and LGBTQIA+ focused narratives, Cahyati Press aim to amplify the communities and voices they would like to see more of in Indonesian experimental publishing.
Suburbia Projects (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
Suburbia Projects is an architecture books retailer and publisher based out in the suburbs of Petaling Jaya. Founded in 2020 by Ashran Bahari and Naadiya Hani, Suburbia Projects aims to fill the gaps in critical and meaningful publications in/on South East Asian architecture with a strong focus on virtues and values over aesthetics.
Spacebar Zine (Bangkok, Thailand)
A curated bookstore and studio showcasing independent publications from Thai and international artists. Spacebar Zine's selection spans art books, zines, prints, and indie artworks - each piece a testament to creative freedom and artistic vision. Nestled within GalileOasis Art Space in Bangkok, their space invites collectors, dreamers, and the artfully curious to explore the tactile beauty of printed matter.
KOVA (Singapore and London)
KOVA’s journey redefines traditional publishing by integrating wearable structures, conceptual art, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Rooted in KOVA’s ethos of dynamic and engaging creative expressions, the imprint transforms publications into hybrid mediums that invite tactile and conceptual engagement.
