Posted Up pulls from the 70,000+ strong archive of the Bienal Internacional Cartel Mexico (BICM) to spotlight a selection of posters where type does all the talking.
Curated by N0 R3PLY founders Azul Bermudez and Sen Vanderzalm, the exhibition brings together works that push typography front and centre.
Expect heavy hitter of American graphic design Paula Scher, alongside key figure from the Polish poster movement Wiktor Górka, and a broader mix of international designers working across different contexts and decades. The result is a cross-section of how type travels across languages, publics, and styles through the enduring art of poster design.
A selection of free posters will also be available for audiences to take home.

N0 R3PLY is a collective based between Mexico City and Naarm/Melbourne who provide design, production and curatorial services to deliver a range of creative outcomes such as exhibitions, events and community initiatives. Co-founded by Azul Bermudez and Sen Vanderzalm, their work often operates between disciplines, bringing together artists, designers, and audiences through collaborative formats.
N0 R3PLY has participated in MABF for a number of years, with the launch of their debut exhibition series 'Sequence of Spaces' in 2024 and their 'How to Manifest(o)' workshop series in 2025. Last year, they also published their own manifesto as part of MABF's NEWSSTAND activation.
Bienal Internacional Cartel Mexico (BICM)
The Bienal Internacional Cartel Mexico (BICM) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion and preservation of poster design. Founded in 2011, it has developed an archive of over 70,000 works from across the world, positioning the poster as a vital form of visual communication. Through exhibitions, publications, and international collaborations, BICM supports the continued relevance of graphic design in public and cultural contexts.
