Melbourne based artist Blinkerfluid will be drawing live at the Stallholder Fair, producing a limited run of 50 hand-drawn bookmarks each day. With each one drawn freehand and unique, visitors can meet the artist and pick one up for free while stock lasts.
The activation offers an opportunity to directly engage with Blinkerfluid’s practice, centred on quick, intuitive mark-making. Part functional object, part original artwork, each bookmark brings a piece of Melbourne’s iconic street art culture into the context of the book fair.

Blinkerfluid
Blinkerfluid is an artist and designer whose work draws heavily on street art traditions and 1990s b-boy aesthetics.
Working across illustration, murals, and graphic forms, his practice is defined by bold linework, rhythmic composition, and an instinctive, improvisational approach. His visual language is shaped as much by hip-hop culture and graffiti as it is by design, resulting in work that feels immediate, energetic, and grounded in movement.
Blinkerfluid’s practice often centres on accessibility and exchange, bringing art into public and participatory contexts and creating moments where audiences can engage directly with the act of making.
