Soft Stir is an independent, Sydney-based publication examining art, music, culture and philosophy through the work of diverse and emerging Australian creatives.

Each issue gathers a mix of essays, interviews, poetry, fiction, illustration, photography, artworks and sound in response to a central theme. As a platform for reflection, experimentation and collaboration, our goal is to strengthen cultural and creative networks within the Australian community and create opportunities for cross-disciplinary exchange.

Soft Stir is stocked globally in galleries, design bookstores, publishing fairs and independent art spaces, and has featured in programs for the Sydney Writers’ Festival, Semi Permanent, Melbourne Design Week, the Powerhouse Museum and more.
